Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
By accessing or booking services through Lifton Transport LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
• Scope of Services – Lifton Transport provides licensed and insured box truck delivery services, including flexible freight, time-sensitive deliveries, dedicated freight, regional hauls, long hauls, and contract work.
• Service Area – We operate throughout California and the Western U.S., as specified in each service description.
• Booking & Payment – Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure online platform. Rates are determined by mileage tier, time, and service specifications.
• Client Responsibilities – Clients must ensure cargo is ready at the time of pickup, provide complete pickup/delivery details, and arrange for someone to sign off at delivery (unless alternate arrangements have been made).
• Right to Refuse Service – We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service due to unsafe conditions, incomplete information, violation of terms, or scheduling conflicts.
• Limitation of Liability – Lifton Transport is not liable for delays or damages resulting from road conditions, weather, acts of God, or factors beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy
• Notice Required – Cancellations or reschedules must be submitted in writing to support@liftontransport.com.
Refund Guidelines:
• 100% refund – For cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
• 50% refund – For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
• No refund – For cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment or no-shows.
Rescheduling:
• Free rescheduling is allowed with 2+ hours’ notice.
• Rescheduling with less than 2 hours’ notice may incur a $50 administrative fee.
Exceptions:
We may waive fees in the event of verifiable emergencies or severe uncontrollable circumstances.
